What this website stores

Two things, both kept in your own browser and neither shared with anyone:

• Your language choice. A small cookie remembering whether you chose English or नेपाली, so the site opens in the same language next time. It holds nothing else.
• Your shopping basket. Items you add from the optical shop are kept in your browser’s local storage so the basket survives a refresh. It never reaches our server unless you place an order.

There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels on this site. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a font provider.

One exception: the map. The location map on our home page is embedded from Google. When it loads, Google can set its own cookies and will see your IP address and which page you are on. It is the only third party on this site. If you would rather not load it, you can reach us using the address and phone number above — nothing on this site depends on the map.

When you book an appointment

The booking form asks for your name, phone number and what you would like to be seen about. We use it to contact you and arrange the appointment. It is stored on our own server in Nepal’s time zone and is visible only to clinic staff.

If you become a patient, your clinical records are kept separately from this website, under access control, with every access recorded. Health information is sensitive personal data and we treat it that way.

Your choices

You can clear the language cookie and the saved basket at any time through your browser’s settings — nothing on this site will break. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, contact us and we will respond.
